What is a CCTV drain survey?
A CCTV drainage survey is a process used for examining the condition of drainage systems using a remote camera system. Using industry leading technology from iPEK our cameras provide a live feed to our fleet of vehicles whilst recording video footage, capturing still image and recording other job information.
Underground CCTV technology has become increasingly popular when providing inspection and survey services to underground drains, sewers, culverts and other drainage assets without the need for excavation.
Each Quest CCTV Unit is directly linked to the office and on-board reporting delivers the survey results direct from site to the customer.
Our units can survey pipes and drainage systems from 50mm to 2000mm diameter and up to 300m length in length in one direction. Within our CCTV Survey armoury we also have the versatility of remote/portable equipment for inaccessible locations and floating platforms, for high level flows and trunk sewers.

- One of our dedicated CCTV engineers will attend your site/property at the arranged time, discussing your issue and locating the nearest access point.
- The engineer will access the drainage system and insert the CCTV equipment most relevant to the scale and nature of the job.
- The camera will provide a live video link back to our facilities above ground, allowing our engineer to take note of any blockages or damage which could be causing a drainage problem.
- Findings from the CCTV Drain Survey will be presented back to the customer with any recommendations for further repair or cleaning works.
