Praise for today’s Hero of the Day as Tanker Driver Mick Flanagan assisted in extinguishing a house fire in the Deighton area of Huddersfield involving two people
Whilst on route from a nearby tipping site Mick came across the well-alight property with no emergency services on scene
Driving a wagon equipped with wash-down, Mick stopped at the scene and began to extinguish the fire by jetting until further assistance arrived.
The trapped residents both escaped to safety.
Well done to Mick for his brave and selfless actions.
