Quest’s Financial Director, Madelein Cook, has joined the not-for-profit organisation Women in Transport
Women in Transport is a not-for-profit organisation that empowers women to maximise their potential. The organisation addresses the inequality of women’s representation in the transport industry’s workforce. The organisation says that women make up 47% of the UK workforce, while only 20% of roles in the transport sector are held by females.
Membership provides exclusive access to a varied events programme including unique experiences, professional development and networking and annual mentoring.
Madelein said ‘’I am delighted to act as a delegate for Quest. We have teams of highly skilled engineers working on the UK’s Highways round the clock; by committing to membership, we as a company have demonstrated our commitment to promoting equality and inclusion in the transport sector.”
